I’d love to have snacks available for hungry students that come to the counseling center. Students come in varying degrees of distress or duress. Snacks and beverages can comfort and help a student in their times of anxiousness or overwhelm. A snack helps establish and solidify a relationship with a high school student. An offer of food can soothe a student frustrated by life. In this year of returning to in-person school, students will have multiple additional needs. A nice snack will go far towards meeting these needs for them.
