I am requesting healthy snacks, such as Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers, Rice Krispy treats, Apple and Eve 100% Fruit Juices, and Welch's Fruit Snacks. In order for children to succeed in the classroom, they don't need to be worried about where the next meal may come from. I would love to give my students the opportunity to get healthy snacks while they are at school. Due to Covid, we are balancing both in-person and virtual learning. These snacks will go home with my students during the times they are not in person with me. These items will include fruit snacks, Rice Krispy treats, fruit drinks, and other essential food items that are easy for them to access. Being an advocate for my students is very important to me. Ensuring their health and wellness is part of my position as their teacher. I would love to make sure that my eager kindergarten students have all of these needs met. During such a trying and unprecedented time, the last thing they should be worried about is where and if they are going to get food.
