It is time to take our class library to the next level. Independent reading has been lackluster with the same books having been in rotation for years now. It's time to ignite excitement in students when it comes time to have free reading time. This selection of books is a perfect combination of classics, whimsical fiction, and heartfelt stories. What was a book that made you cry or stay up late with a flashlight? For me in 7th grade it was Bridge to Terabithia. With this and other amazing stories I hope to get kids begging, "Please can I take this home?"
