My students need a wide variety of photography supplies to support a diverse learning experience. Students will make a negative printed on a transparency film and then will print on a sun sensitive paper and fabric squares. The cheat sheet cards will give them a wonderful reference that can be used throughout the course. Instant Polaroid film will show them how they need to compose their photo well because they only have one chance of getting the right exposure. Photography is a language more universal than words. Our school population is extremely diverse. My students often don’t know how to express what they want to say and our photography class is the perfect place to help them find their “voice".
