Although I plan on using the headphones during technology instruction in my classroom, I can also send a set of headphones home with any student that might need to be learning from home for a specific reason. This will help provide equal opportunity for all families. When working from home, the headphones help students focus on their device and filter out the background noise. In addition they can be heard when providing oral responses. This will allow them and their families to feel more successful in working on their technology device.
