At our school, as with most schools, our students love to get up and get moving. This means PE and recess times. We are responsible to teach our own PE to our classes. We have very little PE equipment which we mostly purchase on our own. I would like to give our 6th graders more opportunities to enjoy learning sports. They will have new equipment that is up to date and fun to use and will enjoy being indoor or outdoors for physical education. We are a Title I school so many of our students don't have opportunities outside of school to play sports with others. It is a great way to teach them cooperation, sportsmanship and the fun of being part of a team. PE is also a time to help students learn a healthy lifestyle both physically and mentally. I would like equipment to help me meet the needs of all of my students physical abilities and beyond.
