We are a Title I school with a <5% proficiency rate in math and English. My students do not always have basic supplies in order to engage in learning. I want to start this school year off right with enough supplies for all of my students. They should not have to worry about markers, scissors, and rulers in order to fully participate in the creative parts of our science classroom. This school year is already filled with re-entry anxiety. My students deserve to engage in their year with anxiety around supplies being dismissed. In order to ensure the best and most consistent school year, I need to ensure our classroom is equipped with the necessary supplies to keep my students safe. We do not want to return to virtual learning. With the supplies given, I will ensure that our classroom is disinfected between each class period so we can stay in school.
