I will be using the books with students in class to help guide their reading skills in fluency and pronunciation to basic comprehension of what's going on in the story, the setting and characters. My students are in a functional-skills classroom where 9th through 12th graders all co-exist in the same class setting. Therefore, the students have a variety of goals to meet and require differentiation of lesson materials and assessments in reading. I have used Reading A-Z in which I made numerous reading books on different levels, but having actual copies of books available like the ones I've requested will only enhance my ability to reach the students better and help them achieve their goals.
