In physical science , teaching from the book just doesn't make the grade. Children must have hands on experiences in order to make the most of their learning. Without your generous contribution, our class cannot afford these supplies which are imperative to Science Greatness! My students will use engineering principles while wearing safety goggles to build a racer that teaches about friction and tension, while it harnesses potential energy stored in rubber bands. Additionally, building these racer cars will help develop and utilize developmentally important fine and gross motor skills. Then of course we'll be ready for the checkered flag!
