The materials we are seeking for this project will give the students endless possibilities for engaged self-directed learning. We will all seek to achieve a basic understanding of 3D printing we can use to print parts for music instruments, science projects, social studies diagrams, and more. We will print the pieces to create a greener city with less runoff. We will print nose cones and wings for model rockets that the students will design. The learning and assessment can take exciting, more engaged, and greater depth with a 3D printer.
