I am requesting visual language builder cards for my students who are in the early stages of their English Language Development and sequencing cards for those who are learning to say and write complete sentences in English. The materials will make a difference in my students' learning because we will be using them in Newcomer small groups based on their English Language Proficiency. My students are dual language learners who have extensive vocabularies in their first (and second language) and they need support in developing their emerging to expanding vocabulary in English. I will be working with my students in small groups focusing on developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills as well as vocabulary development. I will be using the vocabulary cards with students who are just beginning to learn words in English and the sequencing cards with students who are beginning to say and write their first sentences in English.
