My kids enjoy reading and by getting these Scholastic magazines, I can put a lot of quality non-fiction material in their hands & give them the opportunity to read about current events that they can relate to. By using these magazines, it will allow them to connect with topics that are of interest to them & they can learn more about the world around them in a fun way. It's important for me as the teacher to help my classes understand current events in an age-appropriate way & I feel that Scholastic News Magazines and Science Spin are the best choice to help me! The kids will look forward each week to getting the new issue to use to learn in class using the magazines & the digital part on the website when we discuss the issue. With the help of DonorsChoose, I am hoping to make this possible!
