The supplies selected for my students and classroom, will help make their learning environment and experience so much better. Many of the parents of my students aren't able to afford the basic school supplies; so things like pencils, notebooks and scissors, students don't have. In our class we use notebooks daily to practice answering word problems, and we can never have enough pencils. As a teacher we create many anchor charts for students to refer back to skills previously taught throughout the school year, so chart paper would be a great help. Also, students are constantly working in groups where they record their answer on chart paper, so markers are needed. Helping my students to develop a love for learning is very important to me. With that being said, the classroom environment is very important. The classroom chairs I selected I feel will be a great incentive for students when they do well and will also motivate them to do better. Many of the items on TPT align with the standards covered in my district, so a gift card from TPT will all me access to many of the resources I wouldn't have access to other wise. There are many things I selected, but honestly anything will help and everything that is donated will be appreciated!
