With these materials, I will be able to help fund my art program and support my students. I not only focus on the aesthetic importance of art but the therapeutic nature of it, as many of my students face hardship daily. Having a chance to use new and exciting materials in art allows my students to dive even deeper into a subject that they love. While they discover a love for art, they also discover a sense of confidence and pride in themselves they may not have felt worthy of before. I would like to use the materials wished for to grow my students’ skills and expose them to new and exciting ways to express themselves.

About my class
