Having hands on access to modeling what molecules and compounds look like will help them to visualize what is really going on. Having the periodic table on the wall will help see what the basics of everything they see, touch, eat, and wear on a daily basis. Students need to be able to see and touch certain aspects of science. Models are an important tool, especially for chemistry because we are talking about things that are so small.
