Children need to be active! By providing my 17 first graders with flexible seating options they will wiggle to their hearts content without disturbing other’s learning. My students will use these wonderful seats while working at their desks, during carpet time, small group interventions, and centers. In addition, moving increases oxygen flow throughout their little bodies and brains keeping them alert and focused. By donating to this flexible seating project, you will help my first graders stay on task, stay focused. More time on task equates to higher academic achievement.
