These materials will help my kindergarten students develop social-emotional learning and motor skills through creative and positive play in the classroom. My students received 20-25 minutes each day of free-choice time. Currently, my students are using a hodge-podge of materials that I was able to collect from the school or were donated by other teachers. I am so grateful that they have something to play with, but I want to provide them with higher quality and more age-appropriate materials so they can continue learning how to share, cooperate, and learn through doing. This free-choice time also allows me to move throughout the room, checking in with students, and facilitating learning moments in real-time.
