Furnishing the Student SEL Room will allow students to release, relax, and relate while taking a mental academic break. It will create an atmosphere filled with love and positive vibes! Being relived from the stress of the pandemic, stress in their classrooms, stress in their home life, stress in relationships and the stress of being a typical teenager! The oversized chairs, rugs, and pillows will provide students with comfortable sitting areas while listening to calming music. Furthermore, the motivational and inspirational wall art will serve as a constant reminder that the school offers our support to the entire family especially our students. Lastly, lite refreshments can be stored in the mini refrigerator for a quick snack to share with students who have not eaten. Overall this will be a safe space for students to reset their thought process and continue the day with a smile.
