These folders and storage boxes will allow my students to create and have a safe place to store their own personal social emotional journal. Using daily writing prompts and worksheets, my students will explore how to express their emotions in a healthy way. The students will also have several activities to learn how to regulate and cope with tough emotions they may be dealing with. Expressing emotions in a healthy way is an essential skill for my students to learn to grow into healthy adults. Practicing expressing emotions and making it normal will allow my students to be comfortable dealing with any emotions they may encounter.
