The outside table will provide students an alternative place to sit instead of the four walls of a classroom. Students love the outdoors. With the outdoor table, a small group of students would be able to sit outside for lunch, read a book, or work on projects. Teachers would also be able to go outside and do a small group lesson. The 4th and 5th grade students who participate in the county book competition, would be able to sit outside and discuss the books they have read. The table would be a great place to perform science activities that may get a little messy.
