These Switch Centers will enable students to learn to activate equipment to meet goals for cause and effect operation and more. They can learn to independently activate a switch to demonstrate visual tracking and eye-hand coordination. Students can activate switches as needed for activities of daily living as well as vocational tasks by turning equipment on and off with direct switch operation. Additionally, students can learn to independently activate a switch connected to a recordable message device to seek attention or deliver a social interaction for functional communication wants and needs.
