Social-emotional learning is so important for students especially during the pandemic. I teach 10th grade geometry and the number one thing that holds these kids back from their true potential is their own emotions. If they can see some best practices and understand the benefits of taking care of their body and mind then they might just be able to impress us all! I often have assignments where students have to complete real world tasks and having a class set of tape measures would greatly help with those hands-on assignments.

About my class
