Supporting students with their physiological needs is an important aspect of academic learning. If you are able to help provide students with snacks it would help them build the energy and motivation necessary to study the complexities of history. I've already been spending my own money to provide students with snacks throughout our first few weeks together and I've personally seen how it impacts their motivation to learn. One student in particular was groggy and grumpy and after I gave him permission to leave class for a moment to have a snack, he came back energized and ready to learn. I'm personally committed to supporting the social-emotional and physiological needs of my students but it's become expensive to address their needs on my own. Any donation or support you could provide would be greatly appreciated by my students.
