My students will have the benefit of the science lab to connect gaps in learning from the science class. My 5th graders are already interested and excited to have an area that they will use to do more hands on activities. I want to offer the best experience in the Science Lab for them after a schoolyear of them having been virtual and missing so much class time. Goggles will offer eye protection as they use their observation skills during labs we will need to have our personal protection equipment. Also, students will be using our magnifiers to examine smaller items in detail. Students will be using graduated cylinders to carefully measure our liquids and do some fun experiments. Students operate a microscope and will utilize the slides to observe microscopic movement. Students will use pipettes to carefully transfer liquid from one container to another. These items will be used and highly appreciated.
