One thing that is always interesting to students is science and how things are made. Children are born creators and love building with their hands. Our school does a fantastic job engaging our students in the Engineering Design Process. Students are frequently seen reading about famous engineers, applying learned skills through hands on projects, and analyzing their results to improve their results. Amazon's Fire tablets will allow me to support the learning occurring in the classroom by providing my students greater access to STEAM skills in the library. Students will be able to read eBooks through apps like Epic and scan QR codes to hear book reviews of fantastic titles such as CeCe Loves Science, Ada Twist Scientist, and Rosie Revere Engineer in our Readbox. Students will also be able to record their own reviews of their favorite STEAM books!
