These materials will make a difference in my students' learning as they will have multiple ways to access the novel in our class. They can either listen to the audio book, or they can read along in the actual text with a class copy. Without the class copy of books, students will either only be able to access the book digitally or printed out in sections. This unit, we will be learning about how to overcome challenges. We are reading our anchor text in order to better understand the resilience and strength of indigenous people, and making connections to our own lives.
