These supplies are great starters for communication in a science classroom. Not all students learn the same way, but what is known is collaborating amongst each other is one of the best ways for learning. The butcher paper and writing supplies will help students discuss and write out ideas before finally using the other supplies in our lab activities. One of the labs we will be focusing on is our Egg drop lab. This lab will show our students what happens when different forces come into contact with one another and then push the students to design their own stance towards diminishing any impact force. Much like in the NFL, understanding of impact forces are needed to help save lives and gain understanding of real world designs.
