My dream has always been to encourage students in math. This year I have been blessed with the opportunity to encourage kindergarten students through 5th grade students who are struggling with math. My goal is to find and/or create activities that my students can learn from while also having fun. I plan to give small prizes to students that are working hard and have a positive attitude. My class is not like regular classes since I will only have four students at a time for half an hour. I want to instill a love for math even if it is difficult. I also want each student to leave my class knowing that I am proud of everything they accomplish this year.
