The material that I am requesting is all sensory items. As an ASD classroom teacher, it is very important to incorporate sensory breaks/time into our everyday schedule. When my students participate in sensory breaks it helps to regulate their bodies back to a safe and calm state. All students can benefit from using sensory items while they are at school. One of the things that I have requested in particular is 2 wobbly stools. These stools are great for my kiddos that have a lot of energy and love to move around. I believe that all students have the ability to be successful and change the world with the right supports and support they can achieve anything!
