My students are 9th graders in a mostly Hispanic public high school outside of Chicago. Many of their families are living below the poverty level. They are hard working and want to make a difference in the world. Having the opportunity to participate in Regional and State-Wide science fairs is an eye-opening experience for them. Many of my past Regional and State winners have gone on to study in science related fields.

About my class
