These pencils provided are used daily to complete any and all assignments and assessments. For my AP classes, one of our big focuses was annotations. The class set of highlighters always students to annotate in multiple colors for clearer understanding of the text. The markers were used to create vision boards in the new year and hold us accountable for our new goals! My students were shocked that they were no longer limited to the colors for highlighting. They loved the variety and are constantly creating new keys/ legends to organize their annotations. When the boxes started showing up, students were so excited about the new stuff we received. Things like the board games have been a great addition to our unplugged Fun Friday! Students get the chance to unwind, play a game, and chat with friends as a reward for finishing all of their assignments each week. Their favorite game lately has been \"Don't Break the Ice.\" \r\n\r\nSome of the other supplies, like the colored pencils, scissors, and construction paper were recently used for a vision board project in which students set some goals for themselves in the new year. They had a great time getting creative and showing their personal style and interests in a vision board. \r\n\r\nOpportunities like this to receive new, needed supplies for the classroom make a huge difference in the lives of students and their teachers.
