I use the cardstock and sheet protectors for engaging scavenger hunts with geometric problems. I also use the cardstock to allow students to create triangle centroids (balance points) that they try to balance on a pencil tip. I like to give my students opportunities for hands on, visual learning of our geometry. A quality compass is essential for students to experience accurate hands on learning that carries to careers such as architecture, engineering, and gaming. I like for my students to have real world connections to the material they learn day to day.
