My 5th grade students are coming back into the building after a year and a half away from school. With that comes a distinct need to create a classroom space that reflects and represents their experiences. This is my first year teaching 5th grade, so I'm in need of your help to flesh out our classroom library! I need your help to create a classroom library that helps them question the world, realize their positionality and feel represented in our space. Your support will help our students make connections and develop critical thinking. These books will also be integral to our social-emotional learning and classroom commitment to anti-racism.
