These music stands will be used in a variety of ways. They will be used with the 3rd and 4th grade students when they learn how to play the recorder, they will be used with 5th and 6th grade students when they learn how to play the ukulele, and they will be used with the 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students in band and choir. These music stands will impact the musical experiences of many students at my school. Having music stands at school will mean that the band students do not need to bring their own folding stand to and from school every day. When students learn recorder and ukulele, they will be able to use the music stands instead of their desks to hold their sheet music.

About my class
