I am wanting these materials for my reading corner. I would love to have a section where any of my students can go grab a book and not worry if they will be able to read it or not. I work with many bilingual students. Having books that have both English and Spanish will help their literacy skills grow. It is important to me that my students feel safe and comfortable in my classroom so getting a lot of bilingual tools in my classroom is an amazing opportunity to do so. I wanted to get the giant carpet to make sure that area is clean and a space dedicated just for sitting and reading. The students will be able to take the books home so their parents can read with them! I wanted to get the diversity pack to expose my students to different cultures. Diversity and inclusion is very important to many so any tools I have to expand their understanding would be amazing!
