Every child has a story to tell, and I want my first graders to know that their ideas and voices matter. My goal is to create an organized and engaging Writer’s Workshop where students can focus on writing, creating, and sharing their stories. These resources will help students practice sounding out words, building sentences, using inventive spelling, adding details, and revising their work. Visual supports and flexible workspaces will encourage independence, while clear routines will help students stay focused and responsible. Most importantly, I want my students to feel confident taking risks, learning from mistakes, and expressing themselves through writing. Your support will help my young authors develop creativity, independence, and a lifelong love of writing while proudly saying, “I am a writer!”
