The books and materials I have selected will be used to help the students in my school who have difficulty with speech, reading, and comprehension. They will also help families come together as students will be able to borrow books that they can read to and with their families. Growing the collection will also encourage reluctant readers to pick up a book. It is important that we meet students where they are. Many of these students have extreme language barriers they have to face on a daily basis. Providing students with authors, characters, and languages that reflect them, their families, and their cultures is crucial.

About my class
