I teach at a title one school. Most of our kids come to school without any paper or pencils to do their work. Teachers are having to spend their hard earned money buying the supplies for the students to be successful. If my project is funded, it will put paper, pencils, and markers in the hands of children that really need them. With these supplies, my students can achieve their goals. They will be able to collaborate with their peers. If students need to quarantine, they can take the supplies home with them. W.4.2 Write informative/explanatory texts to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly. (4-PS3-1) W.5.1 Write opinion pieces on topics or texts, supporting a point of view with reasons and information. (5-LS1-1)
