Book bins allow students quick, easy access to their reading materials and other resources chosen just for them by their teachers. They'll no longer need to dig through shelves or backpacks to find the learning material, saving precious class time and eliminating the frustration of misplaced library books. During Daily 5 language rotation, students can independently use their bins while I work with small groups; this keeps them on task, and me focused on the students before me. After other tasks are finished, students know the bins are their next stop, continuing their learning while allowing others the chance to finish work without disruption.
