This project will allow each student to have a book in their hand to read, annotate, and keep. Students will be reading, discussing, and writing about this book in order to work on reading comprehension strategies. In addition, this book is great for teaching students to respect the differences of others. Students will be asked to apply this theme to our classroom community and how they can respect others in our very own room. I have a very eager group of learners who are thrilled about “Out of my Mind!”
