Students will have the opportunity to sit on the floor for collaboration time. I will be supporting students in their learning of mathematics and want to offer the students the choice of sitting on the floor. The classroom currently has hard floors that can be very cold and not comfortable to sit on. I would love to have a carpet for them to sit on as an alternative to sitting in a desk. I will have pillows for them to use as well. Not every student learns the same way.
