Our class starts with a Read Aloud story, this is the part my students love the most! Some of my students' parents work several jobs; having someone to read to them at home is something they don't have. The carpet squares will give them their own numbered colorful place to seat to enjoy the story. My students will be excited about the reading lights; they will be reading and learning in the dark like owls! We will use the word manipulatives to practice how to speak and write in full sentences in English and Spanish.
