They also loved using the googly eyes to complete our mouse craft—there were lots of smiles and excitement as their projects came to life!\r\n\r\nNext week, we are looking forward to using our watercolor paints to create snowmen, exploring color mixing and artistic expression. So far this week we have used our paint to to complete our snowman craft by adding white snow to our pictures and to paint small paper plates that we used for our 3 little pigs craft. I added the monster pens to the center along with their name plates and they giggled; they thought they were funny and have been busy writing their names in the center. New materials always get them excited and wanting to go to the center to explore and create. Next week I will switch out the monster pens and add the gel pens to the center; they absolutely love having new writing materials. Today our doll house arrived and it worked out perfectly! In one of our centers I put the three little pigs and the big bad wolf characters along with the dollhouse and all the furniture. They absolutely loved furnishing our new dollhouse and setting up the 3 pig's new, safe, and sturdy home. \r\n\r\nI left the dollhouse in the brown box until it was time to play and when I pulled the dollhouse out they were very excited. They spent the entire center time playing in the center and decorating the little pig's new home. \r\n\r\nFor our Family and Friends theme I will put the dollhouse in our Construction Center along with all the plastic families members for them to play with.
