My students come from a small, isolated, rural community in the Nebraska Panhandle. Their families have diverse social and cultural backgrounds. The majority of them struggle with low income and poverty. Even though many face challenges outside of school, my young students come to school excited to learn. In the short time of each school year, my goal is to set my first graders up for future academic, social and emotional success. My students are intelligent, kind and hard-working. They deserve every opportunity to recogonize and reach toward their full potential. Your support will have a positive impact not only on these students, but my future classes as well.
