This equipment will help our school run a class that offers a chance to learn and practice individual physical fitness components that students can carry with them for a lifetime. Within this course students will also learn about self care, mindful meditation and stress reduction. This class can be offered each year and reach many students that dislike taking other physical education electives because they don't like the team sport or competitive nature of other physical education courses. It is my goal that this course will reach those students who want to be active and healthy in less stereotypical "gym" class curriculum. My class will help bring a different option to all students at my school.
