I would like to connect creative writing to real life experiences. Through the creative writing process, students will expand on what they know, incorporate what they would like to know, and what they have learned from the books we will read and discuss. My students will be able to use their sensory perceptions, using their own memories and exercising certain writing muscles. The materials will increase students' skills in: vocabulary, creative writing, penmanship, and critical thinking. The materials I am requesting can be used for hands-on enrichment in class and at home.
