The purpose of this project is to create a classroom library that is representation of all my students. The books will discuss relevant topics, with diverse characters. These books will be used for social emotional, morning meetings and whole group instruction to promote critical thinking and students to be able to see different perspectives. The selected books will provide engaging subjects which encourages acceptance and kindness. It is crucial that each one of my student feel he or she is represented, safe to be themselves and encouraged to voice their opinion.

About my class
