Since dual language classrooms often lack the authenticity needed in their resources and materials, teachers are responsible in creating and providing these materials for their students. The use of mini white boards in my class is almost daily, especially in math. I have a lot of EL students in my classroom that are struggling with understanding both languages so math complicated everything for them. However, these white boards helps me provide more guided practice and allows me to see what students are doing. By donating to our project, you will help not only increase and improve student attention but also their own confidence and motivation to reach their full academic potential. Students will be able to focus on their own work and we no longer would have to worry about sharing whiteboards (especially during COVID times). I need all the help I can get to make sure I can provide my students with as many opportunities to succeed in my classroom!
