All of these items will be used to promote a physical education curriculum that will meet the needs of students in grades 7th through 12th grade. Most, if not all, of our physical education equipment is falling apart or broken! We need to show these students that we care! These students come from impoverished homes and do not see the nicest of things. By providing new equipment, it will show the students that we care about their physical education and they are a priority to us! We are a small school so a little goes a long way, but unfortunately, the school does not have the funds to invest in new sports equipment for physical education. The items in this project will provide enough equipment for all students in physical education from 7th grade all the way through 12th grade. Physical Education is important so that we can build students to love physical activity! Many of these students become passionate about a sport we teach in P.E. and go on to play on the school athletic team and some even pursue it at a college level. We are growing athletes, as well as teaching students the importance of physical activity in our daily lives!
