These beautiful books will be welcomed into our classroom library. These stories represent the struggles, triumphs, dreams, and stories of my diverse learners. When students pick up these books they will flip through them and see themselves reflected in the pages. With your help, we can get these culturally diverse books into the hands of students. Students will be able to access these stories as they serve as mirrors, allowing them to see their own stories and cultures in these books. I know these books will help empower my students, and give them a voice they may have not had before. I will use these stories to build a classroom community that celebrates the diversity that each student brings.
